Brushstrokes of color
A bride in pink closed the last Jesús Peiró fashion show. But it was not the first time that a color which is not white, it slips into the sketches of the Spanish brand. In 2014, black details from Costuras collection caught the attention of critics and public.
Gradually, the color has become the new bridal trend, and 2017 will be dyed with pink, fuchsia, gold, silver and even turquoise. There are no limits for a color palette that gives life to white with strong and indiscreet colors. Jesús Peiró bride seems to side-step the law without breaking with tradition; in a mix of avant-garde, daring, convention and calm.
Nevertheless, the not nuclear white remains the star of weddings, but peppered with other colors, that surprise the bride when she arrives at Jesús Peiró boutique. “Buying a dress like this doesn´t happen every day. We are not used to it and, therefore, we need advice”, tells me Merche Segarra, to explain how she manages to break the mold of many of her clients, familiarizing them with brushstrokes of colors unimaginable for them.
